Cassée was born of the idea that all broken hearts can be mended. Maybe they can. He's a scrawled clown with a troubled past. I wanted to convey my signature but also create a character with a story. The heart-shaped head was an ideal shape to work with, and the body shape lends itself well to the clown character I wanted to create. He's a darker, grayer version of his distant cousin Ronald.
